Occasionally when I hear non Americans in YouTube videos talk about NASCAR, they confuse them for stock cars. There is no such thing as a NAS car, they race stock cars in a series called NASCAR, which may be an acronym I'm not aware of.

I know it wasn't a NASCAR spec, but I took it for an oval racer. Shows what I know.
